An 18 strong Kenilworth Masters team of 12 women and (only!) 6 men headed north to Etwall’s fun & friendly end of season gala. Fuelled by performance enhancing birthday cake, 8 slightly crazy swimmers chose to enter all 13 individual events! They were duly rewarded with as many relay swims as possible, and in Joys case, a skins event too. The team was roared on to success by the club penguin mascots Kenny & Melissa (do penguins roar?), and despite the fun and multiple events the club’s 8 relay teams won 6 golds, a bronze and a 4th place, including a new Meet Best Time (MBT) in the Mixed 200+ Medley Relay (Joy, Rob, Will & Karen).
