What is Masters Swimming?
Masters swimming is essentially swimming for over 18s, and there are Masters swimming clubs all across England,
It encompasses casual fitness swimming to highly-organised competitive swimming. How far you go is up to you! Masters swimming clubs are open to all with an emphasis on fun.
How can I “try out” Kenilworth Masters?
We have regular, coached training sessions in Kenilworth, Leamington Spa, Warwick and Coventry.
Come along to any training session, introduce yourself to the coach on the poolside who will point you in the right direction of which lane to swim in. We have lanes for a variety of speeds and abilities.
We are happy for you to “pay as you go” for a maximum of 3 sessions to try us out and if you decide to continue training with us, membership to the club is then required.
We are a friendly, inclusive and welcoming club who are always keen to meet fellow H₂O lovers.
Do I have to compete if I join the club?
No, many of our members swim just for fitness and fun. Others train to assist them in other disciplines such as Triathlon, Open Water Swimming and Water Polo.
We do however, regularly compete as a club at Regional, National and even International competitions, which we would always encourage members to try out if they were interested.

Membership renewal is due in January each year.
Membership categories are as follows:
- Category 1 (Non-competitive) £45
- Category 2 (Competitive) £65
- Swimmers who are primary members of another club but wish to retain membership of Kenilworth Masters £30
Please consider carefully paying for a competitive membership as we would love our swimmers of all abilities to try out a gala or two this year!
