In 1987 a crack unit of masters swimmers was sent to pool in Kenilworth for a crime they didn’t commit. These swimmers promptly escaped from a maximum-security butterfly set to the Warwickshire underground. Today, still wanted by the ASA, they survive as swimmers of increasing age.
