Congratulations to Kenilworth Masters swimmers Suzanne Linton, Alan Cooper, Trevor Clark, and James Wardle, who competed in the European Masters Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia, this June.

The four swimmers collectively secured 12 top-six finishes, including 8 medals.

Suzanne Linton (60–64 years) claimed victory in the 100 meters backstroke, took third place in the 50 meters freestyle, and came fourth in the 100 meters freestyle.

James Wardle (35–39 years) earned a second place in the 200 meters freestyle, and third places in both the 200 meters individual medley and 50 meters backstroke, even though he is 39 this year and competed against swimmers up to four years younger.

Alan Cooper (60–64 years) achieved top-six placements in all his events: the 100 meters backstroke and the 50 and 100 meters freestyle.

Trevor Clark (70–74 years) won the 50 meters backstroke, took second place in the 400 meters individual medley, and finished third in the 200 meters individual medley.
