Kenilworth Masters always enjoy the end of season atmosphere of Etwall’s gala. This year the club took a team of 16 plus one multifunctional official. It was a smaller team than normal, reduced further by some (suspiciously convenient) inflamed chairman’s tonsils.
The most unexpected performance was from Andrew, who as the starter wasn’t expecting to get wet, but instead stepped into the chairman’s vacant shoes to anchor 2 relay teams. There were plenty of intra club head to head swims, but none more anticipated than the Nunn v Nunn husband & wife swim off in the 100m Freestyle.
